Who are you in my dreams?
With the Sapphire Mountains looking on from above, were you the grizzly bear confidently crossing the river in the Bitter Root Valley, a wriggling, bloody fish in her mouth, startled, wide-open eyes, suddenly ablaze, curiously staring into mine?
Were you the texture of the cool, creamy, coconut ice cream that dripped into my mouth?
Were you the vision standing inside the lush, green line of trees in the Black Forest that day? Or the rays of moonlight curling around them in that summer time fairy tale night?
Was it you, arm revolving madly, gloriously shredding the fuck out of that guitar on stage at the bacchanalian feast?
Were you the spirit I made love to underneath the Mirabeau Bridge?
Was that your naked, slowly sashaying hips, the infinite curvature of your back, that mound of softly curled tresses, I followed through the gates of paradise?
Were you the bright, cheery buttercup I picked who giggled and laughed at me when she tickled my chin?
Just who are you in my dreams?
You are the raging seas I ride on unexpected nights into the skies of fire.
